Travel Advisory Notice: Know Your Travel Medical Policy’s Limitations & Exclusions Before Booking Travel
Due to ongoing conflicts in Europe and the Middle East, it is important to understand certain limitations and exclusions in your Edge Benefits Travel policy. One of the best ways to get informed on potential travel risks is to access the Government of Canada’s list of travel advisories. There are FOUR advisory levels; it is important for you to be aware of these as your Travel Insurance coverage is directly linked to them.
Some of the ways you can be affected while travelling are:
• Reduced access to emergency medical care;
• Limited availability of flight options;
• Restricted financial transactions; and
• Limited or excluded insurance coverage.
